In addition to supplying product of exceptional quality, we pride ourselves on the outstanding quality of our people. Our Managing Director, Steve Swann, has had 25 years experience in the laundry industry. The team's "least experienced" member has been in the industry for 6 years, backed up by a service and installation team with over 50 years in the trade, and excellent spare parts and stock support.

Steve Swann has 25 years experience, in sales and management.

Steve acquired ACLE in 1994, and through his leadership the company has grown from a small business servicing 'light to medium' laundries, to a leading large-scale laundry installation company, with turnover in excess of $5 million per annum.

Steve's hands-on approach to the business means he is always in touch with the requirements of all customers, ensuring that he and his team provide the very best possible service.

Customer Service Representatives

Advance employs Customer Service Representatives (CSR's) who are there specifically to commission laundry equipment, programme the washers and dryers, and train your operators and supervisors.

Our CSR's are also extensively trained in the requirements of the respective authorities who dictate how the laundry must operate. Some examples include:

Australian Standard AS4146:

Laundry practice which dictates management, safety, infection control and linen processing issues.

State Health Guidelines:

Guidelines which dictate disinfection issues.

Workplace Health Safety:

Advance is a member of the National Safety Council of Australia and we keep abreast of handling and ergonomical issues that concern our industry . Our CSR relates these issues to you and your laundry staff and assists with training to minimise the risk of injury, as it pertains to usage of our equipment and in the new laundry in general.

Chemical and Linen Processing:

Our CSR posesses a thorough knowledge of the requirements of various linen categories adn chemicals used in the processes, and is continuously working with customers and chemical suppliers to avoid problems and maximise production by minimising rejects and rewash.

Our CSR involvement does not stop when the laundry is commissioned. Follow up visits and phone consultations are always available, and you can invest in a Customer Protection Plan which guarantees the availability of a CSR, and also extends the machine warranties for up to eight years.
