Project Engineering Leads - Electrical and Civil/Structural

Help shape the next stage of ACLE’s Engineering growth.  As we continue to deliver large-scale solar and battery energy storage projects, we are now building additional engineering leadership capability across the business. This is a positive and important step for ACLE as we strengthen the way we design, coordinate and deliver complex projects for our clients.

We are currently recruiting for two key leadership roles:

Project Engineering Lead – Electrical
Project Engineering Lead – Civil/Structural

These roles will play a central part in how Engineering supports successful project delivery. They will provide technical leadership, coordinate engineering inputs, support project teams and help ensure our designs are practical, compliant, commercially considered and aligned with delivery requirements.  This is an opportunity for experienced engineers who want to do more than sit in a narrow technical lane. We are looking for people who can lead, collaborate, solve problems, influence outcomes and help shape how a growing engineering function operates.

About the roles

• Our Project Engineering Leads will work across the full project lifecycle, partnering closely with Engineering, Projects, Construction, Procurement and external consultants.
• You will help ensure engineering deliverables are well planned, clearly coordinated and delivered to the standard required for safe, efficient and reliable project execution.
• Depending on your discipline, your focus will include electrical, civil or structural engineering design coordination, technical review, stakeholder management, risk identification, project support and leadership of engineering activity across active and upcoming projects.
• These are hands-on leadership roles suited to people who enjoy technical detail, but also understand the importance of communication, accountability and delivery discipline.

What you will bring

• We are looking for experienced engineering professionals with strong technical foundations and the ability to lead work through others.
• You will bring relevant experience in electrical, civil or structural engineering within infrastructure, energy, construction, utilities, renewables or a related project environment.
• You will be comfortable working in a growing organisation where priorities can shift, decisions need to be made and the way forward is not always perfectly documented. You will bring structure without slowing things down, judgement without over-complicating things and the confidence to work across different teams to get the right outcome.
• You will also bring strong communication skills, a practical approach to problem solving and the ability to build trust with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
