 The opportunity The role is responsible to ensure site works are undertaken in a safe and compliant manner, provide solution to any task at hand. Project support with appropriate health and safety advice such that the requirements of both regulatory and ISO accreditation requirements are met.  Duties and Responsibilities  
  • Manage project health and safety requirements consistent with client’s HSSE Manual and ACLE Services HSE Manual, policies and business priorities 
  • Review project SWMS, JSEA and TRAs on an ongoing basis  
  • Conduct risk assessments and enforce preventative measures 
  • Review existing policies and measures and update according to legislation 
  • Initiate and organize HSE training of all employees 
  • Provide weekly reports to management, as per contract requirements  
  • Record and investigate incidents to determine causes and handle worker’s compensation claims 
  • Prepare reports on occurrences and provide statistical information to the leadership team 
  • Manage the Internal & External Audit Schedule  
  • Provide Health, Safety and Environmental Leadership 
  • Manage Return-to-Work processes 
  • Undertake weekly HSE meetings with client 
 Knowledge, Skills & Experience
  • Superior attention to detail with exceptional organisational skills and capabilities. 
  • Highly effective communication skills, both verbal and written. 
  • Resilience and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment 
  • Proven ability to problem-solving when required  
  • At least 2 years employment experience in a HSE leadership role preferably within the solar renewable energy and or construction industry 
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the Workplace Health and Safety Act, Regulations and Codes of Practice, minimum Certificate IV in HSE. 
  • Understanding of Workers Compensation and Return-to-Work programs 
  • Sound knowledge of risk management principles and related practices and procedures 
  • Demonstrated experience in implementing health and safety management systems, and providing advice to managers and staff regarding best practice with WHS matters 
  • Proficient in MS Office; Working knowledge of safety management information systems is a plus 
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present and explain health and safety topics. 
  • Solar experience an advantage but not essential

Senior Project Manager We are looking for a qualified Senior Project Manager to manage and deliver a range of high value turnkey construction projects. The Senior Project Manager will execute against projects as an individual and/or with appropriate resources, focusing on smaller, larger and/or complex projects.  Duties and Responsibilities  
  • Manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Electrician We are looking for fully qualified Australian licenced electrician responsible for electrical works in a solar farm that may include but not limited to cable laying, trenching, AC/DC cables, conduits etc.  What we offer

 The opportunity Reporting to the electrical supervisor the role as a fully qualified Australian licenced electrician will be responsible for electrical works in a solar farm that may include but not limited to cable laying, trenching, AC/DC cables, conduits etc.   Duties and Responsibilities  
  • Cable laying – Trenching, AC/DC Cables, conduits, earth cables, comms cables, MV cables 
  • AC installation – AC combiner installation, AC combiner termination, inverter installation, inverter termination,  
  • AC Testing – continuity, IR testing, polarity testing, voltage checks 
  • DC Installation – harness installation, panel clipping, PV module plugging, string cabling, string cable termination, string labelling  
  • MV system – earth ring construction, E-cube installation, MV termination, MVPS installation, SVG installation 
  • MV Testing – E-cube testing, MV termination testing, MV transformer testing, 
  • Transformer installation 
  • CCTV camera installation and testing, weather station installation and testing  
  • Make day to day decisions to ensure the projects are delivered in accordance with the scope of the work. 
  • Liaise with the management team to ensure documentation/reporting is processed and any issues that may affect the project, customer, delivery schedule or profitability are identified. 
  • Identify OH&S issues that may pose risk by conducting risk assessments, system audits and site inspections.
 Knowledge, Skills & Experience
  • Experience in reading and analysing blueprints and schematics 
  • Experience diagnosing electrical system malfunctions and failures 
  • Standard technical electrician skills 
  • Up to date knowledge on electrical standards 
  • Good communication and people skills 
  • Ability to work in a team or independently 
  • Basic Maths Skills 
  • Communication skills 
  • Understanding of regulatory requirements 
  • Fully qualified electrician with Grade A Electrical licence obtained in Australia 
  • Construction white card 
  • Own transportation to and from project site 
  • Dexterity with hand and power tools 
  • LVR/CPR Certified is desirable but not essential 
  • Experience working on solar farm or similar environment is desirable but not essential
